1. Well, now a story about, well story for the little ones. We have to take you to a small country, New Zealand where downtown Wellington resembled a huge street party. And what was the cause of the celebration, you ask? It has to do with a hobbit and his bid to save the world. CNN’s Andrew Stevens looks at the magic surrounding the film

2. It may be Wellington, but even JRR Tolkien might be forgiven to thinking he landed in one of his own books. Up to 100,000 fans from all over the world came for the premiere to see the film, but even more to celebrate it.
3. And though the Lord of the Rings trilogy is certainly a global phenomenon, for New Zealand it’s still a homegrown effort. Director Peter Jackson is something of a national hero since the first 2 installments, and at this premiere he got something of a hero’s welcome.

“It’s nice to meet you. As the Maorian welcome which was, which was very emotional, and you know it’s just amazing…It, sort of, makes you feel special for some reason.”
4. But Wellington also lived up to its new Welliwood nickname, many of the movie stars also made the journey.
“I’ve met tourists in the city from all over the world, who have literally flown here to pilgrimage, just for this premiere. It’s incredible.”
5. Director Jackson says the movie is the best of the trilogy. The last two took in nearly 2 billion dollars. Best or not, is at least the longest at more than 3 hours. And if that still not enough for rabid fans, Jackson says there’s still a possible prequel to look forward to. Andrew Stevens, CNN, Hong Kong

2. 이곳은 웰링턴이지만 작가 JRR 톨킨마저도 자신의 책 속에 빠져든 듯한 착각에 빠질만 합니다. 전 세계에서 온 수십만 명이 영화를 보고 또 축하하기 위해서 웰링턴으로 몰려들었습니다.
3. 전세계적인 인기를 끈 반지의 제왕 3부작이 촬영된 뉴질랜드의 영화에 대한 자부심은 남다릅니다.피터 잭슨 감독은 첫 두 편이 개봉된 후 국민적 영웅으로 떠올랐고, 이번 시사회에서 그에 걸맞는 환대를 받았습니다.

4. "웰리우드"라는 별명에 부합하듯 다수의 출연 배우가 웰링턴 시사회에 참석했습니다.
"단지 이 시사회를 보기 위해 세계 각지에서 사람들이 비행기를 타고 오다니 정말 믿기지 않습니다."
5. 잭슨 감독은 <왕의 귀환>을 3부작 중 최고로 평가합니다. 첫 두 편은 무려 2십억 달러를 벌어들였습니다. 최고든 아니든 <왕의 귀환>은 3 시간을 넘는 최장 러닝타임을 자랑합니다. 그걸로도 성이 차지 않을 광적인 팬들을 위해 잭슨 감독은 속편 가능성을 시사했습니다.
