(윗문장 전여 스토리랑 말이 않돼거든요.. 저생각에는 peaca 가 아니고 peace 같고요, 월래 문장이 월래는 "Everyone agrees to live peace 아니면 peacefully" 라는게 돼고 이거는 아마 이 스토리의 제목일꺼에요..)
>A sly fox tried to trick a rooster into coming down from his perch.
>예리한 여우가 perch(닭장인데 높이 있는거)에서 숫닭이 내려오게끔 속셈을썼다.
>"Brother Bird," the fox said, "come down and have a friendly chat!"
>여우가 말했다, "형제 새여, 여기 내려와서 나랑 재밋는 얘기나하자"
>"No," said the rooster, "I'm sure you'd eat me."
>수닭은이 "싫어, 왜냐면 넌날 잡아먹을꺼니깐" 이라고 말했다.
>"Oh, I wouldn't," said the crafty fox, "Haven't you heard? Everyone has agreed to live in peace."
>"오, 그럴리가 없지" 라고 여우가 말했다, "너 못들었어? 모두가 평화롭게 살기로 동의했다는거"
>"Is that so?" said rooster, who was just as crafty.
>"진짜로?" 수닭이 말했다
>Stretching his neck, the rooster pretended to look at something far off in the distance.
>수닭은 목을 쭉 내밀더니 저 멀이 있는 무언가를 보는 척을했다.
>"What are you looking at?" asked the fox curiously.
>여우는 관심있는듯" 너 뭘봐" 라고 물어봤다
>"Oh...Just a pack of hungry fox hounds headed right this way."
>"아, 그냥 배고픈 여우잡는 개들이 여기로 오고있거든"
>Upon hearing this, the fox trembled in his tracks and ran off.
>이거를 듣자마자 여우는 헛발질을하면서 허겁지겁 도망갔다.
>"Come back!" crowed the rooster, "Why are you running away? I thought you said that everyone has agreed to live in peace."
>"돌아와!" 숫닭이 소리쳤다, " 너 왜 도망가냐? 난 니가 말한데로 모두가 평화롭게 살자고 동의한거같은데?"
>"Well, perhaps those hungry hounds haven't heard about it yet." said the fox, and he bounded away.
"뭐, 잘하면 저 개들은 아직 못들었을수도 있잔아" 하면서 여우는 도망쳤다. |
